Book of Lists: Today I saw...

This idea (and the text below) came from Kapachino blog but I actually saw it on Cat's Thoughts blog.

"Every month there will be a topic for a list, and the object is to craft it on a blank page, take a photo of your list, then blog it. You can get elaborate scrapbook-style, or even jot it down with your favorite pen. If you want, you don’t even have to make a book and you can just blog about the list topic (even though then it’s not really a book of lists, but that’s cool). My style is somewhere in the middle."

The first topic was 'wishlist'.
The second topic was 'looking forward'
The third topic was Perfect Day
Last month's topic was I'm good at
This month's topic is Today I saw.

Today I saw...

Snow
a friend
a pretty sunrise
a big project finished
cool tattoo pics
a good movie
more snow
pics of my niece
baby shower plans come together
a gorgeous book cover
my hubs acting like a nut
my new 31 bag
a BEA author list
vacation time approved
a book in my mailbox
a new craft to try
a cool new restaurant

Next month's topic is with me at all times.

Thanks for reading!

Book of Lists - Topic #2 Looking Forward

This idea (and the text below) came from Kapachino blog but I actually saw it on Cat's Thoughts blog.

"Every month there will be a topic for a list, and the object is to craft it on a blank page, take a photo of your list, then blog it. The first topic was 'wishlist'.

This month's topic is 'Looking Forward' - I'm  not sure why but one was really difficult for me. After many failed attempts I finally finished my lists yesterday.

I'm Looking Forward to...

-My guilty pleasures...aka tv shows. Bunheads and Switched at Birth back on...yeah I watch teen shows & I'm almost 30!
-WALKING DEAD is back in FEB!!
-BEA in May!!
-World War Z & Warm Bodies Movies

Looking Forward I will...

-Update my book lists & wishlist on Goodreads...a daunting task
-Exercise more...EEK...does that mean I actually have to do it since it's on paper?!? I really have very little will power:-/
-Remember to enjoy the little things
-Not let myself get into a 1-2 week reading slump
-Stick to my January reading challenge...only read books from series I've already startes...and I have to own the book(s)
-Keep up with reviewing books
-Reduce the # of books I own...giveaway or donate books I don't think I'll read
-Really try to comment more on blogs I follow
-Procrastinate less *snort* I doubt that will happen!

Next month's topic is 'Perfect Day'.

Thnaks so much for reading!

Book of Lists - Topic #1 Wishlist

The first topic was 'wishlist'. There's so many different directions you can go with something like that, but here's what I came up with...

Hopefully everything is legible.

Next month's topic is 'looking foward'

Book of Lists

This idea (and the text below) came from Kapachino blog but I actually saw it on Cat's Thoughts blog. I'm a list lover so I decided to join in the fun....plus it was a great excuse to buy yet another notebook!

I went with a small, simple Black n' Red notebook. I also made my own title page which I will probably spruce up at some point.

I'm a little late joining and the first topic list (wishlist) is supposed to be posted on December 3rd...next week. I will not make it by then but I'll try to have my list posted later next week.
