Covers At Random: Straight from the shelf

The temperature is nice after a few scorchers so I made a trip to Barnes and Noble and now I’m sitting on the deck soaking up the nice day.

I walked out of BN with only one book for myself (shocking, right?!) and one for the winner of my last blog giveaway. Anyway, I thought I’d share a few of the covers that caught my eye while I was there. I may be buying them in the future once I look into them a little more.

The Uprising and The Defiant by Lisa M. Stasse

Silver by Chris Wooding

This one really got my attention because of my love for all things disturbing :-P

The Strain by Chuck Hogan

In the end, I bought Guitar Notes because I’ve had it on my radar for a while.

Guitar Notes by Mary Amato

What do you think, would you give any of these a second glance like I did?
Have you read any of them?

  3. It's actually kind of ironic. There's a sticker on the book that says it's now a FX Series. I JUST saw the preview of it for the first time last night. Talk about perfect timing. I pointed to the tv and yelled 'that's the book!!! The eye book!!!' LOL hubby thought I was nuts :-P
